2024 - a year to remember and 2025 - to keep our minds open
2024 has been a landmark year for Schwarz&Co, with projects that are close to our hearts and challenges that have pushed us to evolve.
We’ve had the great pleasure of creating websites for women and associations that we believe are game changers. They are transforming not only the way business is done, but also the lives of many families. We’re proud of their work, and happy to have helped give them the visibility they deserve with brand-new, well-referenced sites:
On the personal side, we also faced challenges that required us to draw on our own resources, while relying on each other to bring our customer projects to a successful conclusion. Quite an achievement for a small team like ours!
It was also an emotional year, with the sudden departure of someone with whom I shared many professional moments. I was deeply saddened by this news, which reminds me that professional life is made up of strong human relationships, and that these departures, whatever the reasons, touch us deeply. Our thoughts are with his family and all those who crossed his path.
We also shared many moments of joy and sharing at our “Happy Hours” during Cully Jazz, for the back-to-school season and the Advent gatherings organized by the Cully merchants’ and craftsmen’s association. What a pleasure it is to be part of this community!
Last May, we had the chance to carry out a large-scale project that was super interesting and stimulating: a commemorative book on the professionals of the 144 and the Centrale téléphonique des médecins de garde. Listening to their calls, understanding their ability to remain calm, their empathy and their professionalism was a unique experience. We discovered how the people of Vaud and Neuchâtel are in good hands, protected in ways we never imagined. We’re proud of the result, and if you’d like to find out more, drop in to read some of the testimonials or borrow a book.
In September, we took the time to treat ourselves to some new professional photos (like the one above and on our about us page). Thanks to Anne-Laure Lechat for capturing our energy!
And now, on to 2025. We’re looking forward to what the year has in store, and to continuing to support ambitious ideas and meaningful initiatives.
To kick off this new year, we’ve taken the time to define our intentions and commitments so that it will be one of openness, progress and hope. Just like last year, we’ve drawn up our manifesto. Discover it here and, if you find it inspiring, don’t hesitate to share it with others!
Happy New Year to you all! May it bring you creativity, pleasure and success in your projects.
With our best Wishes,
Patricia
INSIST
In 2024, we have witnessed many setbacks for women’s rights – notably in education, freedom of expression and abortion. We have also seen women who have shaken history with their courage and resilience, their actions and their words. They encourage us to remain confident and aligned.
Let’s remember that fear and resistance are proof that we have an impact. Every step forward shakes the foundations of a system built on injustice.
And that’s why our word for 2025 is INSIST.
Let’s insist that everyone finds their place without fear or compromise, and that ambition becomes a shared force that inspires and unites. Together, let’s continue to believe and act. Let’s insist that equality, security and freedom become shared givens.
