Before closing one chapter, it is sometimes important to take the time to reflect on what has been accomplished, retrace the journey, and honour the people who made it possible. That was the mission entrusted to us as the Fondation Urgences Santé prepared for its dissolution. Until 2024, the Foundation was responsible for Switzerland's 144 emergency medical dispatch service and the on-call physicians' call centre. The result was a commemorative book paying tribute to the emergency medical dispatchers and call handlers whose commitment supported these essential services for many years.For this project, we brought together a multidisciplinary team and created a visual language that expressed both emotion and gratitude. Through thoughtful editorial design, portraits, and personal stories, we sought to honour the dedication of the Foundation's professionals and preserve the legacy they leave to the community.
